Fiber Color Coding System
The standard 12-color sequence is used for both fibers within a tube and the tubes themselves:
- Blue
- Orange
- Green
- Brown
- Slate (Gray)
- White
- Red
- Black
- Yellow
- Violet (Purple)
- Rose (Pink)
- Aqua (Turquoise)
The sequence repeats as needed for both tubes and fibers.
Each tube contains 12 fibers, and the system is organized into two main groupings:
- OUT1: Tubes 1-24 (Fibers 1-288)
- OUT2: Tubes 25-48 (Fibers 289-576)
Within each OUT group, the second half of tubes (13-24 and 37-48) are labeled with "DS".

About the Color Sequence
This standard 12-color sequence is used throughout the telecom industry for color coding fiber optic cables.
The sequence repeats as needed to cover all fibers and tubes in a cable.
The color coding system makes it easier to identify specific fibers without having to count from the beginning.
